“The 100-Day Project on Instagram is a celebration of process that encourages everyone to participate in 100 days of making. The great surrender is the process; showing up day after day is the goal. For the100-Day Project, it’s not about fetishizing finished products—it’s about the process.”

I participate for the first time in this Instagram project to improve drawing skills and speed. I chose “100 Days Of Urban Portraits” as my assignment. And I found out quickly it might be a little ambitious…. So, I do not “show up every day”. But I keep on drawing and experimenting, focused on improving my skills while maintaining in the process of exploring this one subject. After so many exercises in and outside of my “comfort zone” I aim to eventually find a certain style evolution.
